Garden Party NOVEMBER 19th. “’Ard-up” Dance Manawatu Heads WEDNESDAY, 12th. * * * Eire Brigade Dance last evening a great, success. The Waltzing Competition was' won by Miss R. Dunn and Mr K. Hirini. The Ladies’ prize was donated by the C. M. Ross Co. and the gents’ by Mr A. N. Smith. ’* * The lady who carelessly left her diamond ring to the mercy of the honest public in I lie Masonic Hall on Tuesday night wishes to express her sincere thanks to the member of the Blue and White Orchestra for acting like the traditional white man. * * * The Citizens Committee wish us to announce that invitations are not necessary for Foxton folk for their Ball on the 13th NOVEMBER, Citizens advertise a DANCE at Oroua. Downs on NOVEMBER 11th, (Tuesday). *■ * * Farmers TO-DAY next to Carnival office. * * * Fire Brigade Sacred Concert on Sunday evening. Queen Alexandra’s Own Regimental Band and Wanganui Concert Performers. * * * Cabaret Evening. Ticket Holders are reminded of the First Night on NOVEMBER 20th. Tables can be reserved with Citizens’ Secretary.
