CROQUET.
At a recent committee meeting Airs Barron and Miss Wanklyn were elected playing members. Airs S. Austin was elected an honorary member.
Dn Aloud ay last a most enjoyable, croquet tournament was held, cornpet it ion being keen for each event. The following arc the scores:— Golf.—Alrr ,T. Ah Barr: Break: Airs Ah E. TVrroan; French: Airs Mr-Alurray. The scores for the Wednesday 30.minulp tournament were: —Misses Speirs (7) and Wanklyn (3£); Mesdames Bryant (7), Pearson (04) Huntley (04 j, AlcAfurray (64), Moore (44), Barr (41), Head (84), H. Parkes (34), Ball (34), Downes (14), Owen (14). Mesdames Pearson and Owen (holders) defeated Alesdames J. 11. flow nos ami Al. K. Perroau, 26—18 for the Stewan Shield. In the ladder matches the scores were Airs Perrcmi 26, Mrs 11. Moore PI. Airs Bryant 26, Mrs Park os 20.
