CHILDREN'S HOME.
Owing to the constitution of th# All Saints’ Children’s Home, which has applied ever since the establishment of the institution, being inadequate to cope with changing conditions, a meeting of the committee on Tuesday evening adopted a new constitution, containing several revisions, says the Times. The Rev. \V. Fanconrt presided. Xhe new draft which was prepared by Air ALartyn Abraham, was rendered necessary through tlie increased number of children now in the home and also to contingencies which have arisen through the establishment of the sub-home at Foxton. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mr Abraham. Chief among the provisions arc that all sub-homes established in the future should he represented by two members on the Board, elected by the committee of the said homes, and also that in the event of homes breaking up for any reason that the money be. devoted to a kindred use. it was decided that the committee endeavour to have the homes incorporated under the Act. Plans were presented at the meeting for the extensive enlarging of the home at Foxton, the work, which will cost in the vicinity of £l,lOO, to include water and drainage systems.
