TENNIS.
The annual general meeting of the Levin Tennis Club was held in Levin mi Wedesday evening. The report stated that the membership showed a decrease from fi‘2 to 45. Of the five matches played with other clubs, four were won. The total receipts for the year were £54 0, y and the expenditure £35 Os lid, lea ving a balance of £lB 19/9. The following officers were elected. —President: Ah B. M. Kibblewhite; vice-president: Mr L. Dawson; secretary: Mr K. S. Biss; treasurer; Air P. H. Harper; auditor: Ah p. W. Goldsmith; delegate to Wellington Association: Air F. T. there; committee: Aiesdames Kibblewhite and Dawson, Aliss Marsh, and Messrs Marsh, Ramsay and Mollison; match committee: Aliss Marsh and Alessrs Alollison and Kibblewhite.
The date for the opening of the season was not decided on. Subscriptions were fixed as follows :• — Alen £2 2/-, ladies £1 5/-. to be reduced to £1 15/- and £1 respectively if paid before November 30th. Junior players half rates. It was decided that school children he allowed to use the courts under capable supervision on Saturday mornings and on other days before 9 a.m. and at lunch-time.
