ROYAL PICTURES,
To-morrow night one of the finest. pictures you have ever witnessed will be presented at the Royal Theatre under the title of “dacqueime,” or “Blazing Barriers.’’ Yes, you have all heard of the book of the same name. It is one of James iver Curwood’s greatest successes, and the picture, if anything, is better than the book. It is a gripping, stirring story of the out-back with an excellent cast. It is presented ’ • the Arrow companv and is a Pine Tree Picture production. Do not miss seeing it to-morrow night at the Royal Theatre. A fist fight realistic and intense, that will cause the audience to grasp their seats while watching with breathless anxiety, its outcome is but one of the thrilling highlights of “The Huntress,” a First National picture, which will he screened on Saturday night. It serves to introduce Colleen Moore as a First National star. The picture is one full of intense interest and you will not be sorry you saw it. It will grip you right throughout the evening.
BIG VARIETY PROGRAMME AT TOWN HALL.
On Saturday next the Town Hall management are offering for patrons approval a notable programme of picture at tract ions headed by a William Russell feature drama entitled “When Odds Are Even,” and I be fifteen round fight picture “Dempsey v. Gibbons.” The former is a thrilling drama with much of its action set on a wind jammer making its way round the world. William Russell plays the role of a youug secretary who is commissioned to travel by this boat to investigate au alleged opal mine. He is pursued by much trouble and also by a romance which makes the story a heart stirrer. The lady in the case is Dorothy Devore. Followers of sport will renumber the sensational 15 x’ound stand made by Gibbons against the redoubtable Dempsey, and will welcome the opportunity of seeing the film of the fight.
