“ALADDIN’’ PANTOMIME.

The final performance of the above in the Town Hall on Tuesday night, attracted a fair and keenly appreciative audience. The performance was shortened by curtailing several of’ the items, but this did not detract from the performance as a whole. The scenery, lighting, and charming dresses presented a line spectacle. The principals, Mi.-s La France and Lester Sinclair, were ably supported by the caste as -i whole. Special mention must be made of Miss D. Morgan, whose vocal talent and attractive personality would, under experienced coaching, make her famous in the professional world. Another clever and charming little artist was Maggie Smith, whose graceful dancing fairly captivated the audience. In Myrtle Gav, the human spider, the discovery was made of a natural contortionist. Jack Perreau, the “dame" was above the ordinary in his knockabout comedy work. \\ lien it is considered that the. whole production was put through in a few weeks, it is evidence of the patience and skill of the promoters and natural talent of the performers. A special word of praise is due to the “Peerless Trio Orchestra (Miss Ella Patterson, piano; Mr B. Walls, cornet, and Air C. Simmons, fiddle) who supplied the incidental music and accompaniments. The intensive training and experience gained in the recent productions at. the hands of Mr Sinclair and Miss La France should benefit loenl amateurs iu future performances.
