The High Commissioner’s cable, dated the 20th Last., reads: “Hemp, Manila market, firm. Business has beeu doue in ‘J’ grade at £4B 10/-; now quoted at £4O. New Zealand market firm. High points, Septem-ber-Noveiaber shipments quoted at £42; fail - £39 10/- arid value.”
