The Otaki Maori Racing Club’s Spring meeting opened on Saturday. The weather was beautifully fine and there was a good attendance. The following are the results: — Kapili Hack Hurdles.—Koauau 1, Bonibrook 2, Goldpiece 3. Won by three lengths. Time 2.5fi 1-5. Puhi Maiden Plate.—Westhroke 1, Salamis 2, Miss Hupana 3. Won by a neck. Time 1.4 1-5. Katihiku Hack Handicap.—Clarinda 1, Ranger 2, Waetea 3. Won by a length. Time 1.31 4-5. Memorial Stakes. —Snnart 1, Kilfaire 2, Tanndees 3, Won by a length. Time 2.10 1-5.
Pahiko Hack Handicap.—lmperial Spark 1, Lady Gay 2, Bonideer 3 Won bv two lengths. Time 1.17 4-5.
Waitnwa Handicap. —Rose of Athens 1, Lady Fingers 2. Last Crust 3. Won by two lengths. Time 1.16 1-5.
