PATIENT SUES HOSPITAL BOARD. Hamilton, Last Night. In the Supreme Court Hannah Me Kenzie, a married woman, claimed £I,OOO damages from the Waikato Hospital Board for alleged negligence. Plaintiff alleged she was burned by a hot water bottle while a patient in the hospital. After much evidence had been taken the parties conferred and arrived at- a settlement. Plaintiff withdrew the allegation of negligence against the Board or its servants.
