MANAWATU-OROUA RIVER BOARD.
REPORT OF COMMISSION. The Commission Appointed to inquire into the petition of the Mana-watu-Orona River Board for the inclusion of certain areas in its district, submitted its report to the Department of Internal Affairs, utiieli has adopted it. The areas affected aiv as follows: Excluded: Kairanga sub-division area, Xos. I and 2 with the exception of section 1542 on the extreme north portion of Area No. 1, which is already in the river district. included: Moutoa sub-division Areas No. 1,2, 3,4; Koputaroa sub division Nos. 1,2, 3, and 4; Oroua sub-division Nos. 1 and 2. The undermentioned areas are fully liable to levy of rates, hereafter to be made by the Board, and for the future levy of rates already made by the Board: —Moutoa subdivision Area No. 1; that portion of Area No. 2 of the Moutoa Sub-div-ision lying to the west of the main Poxton-Levin road; Moutoa sub-di-vision No. 4; Koputaroa Sub-Div-i.-ioii Nos. 1,2, 3, and 4, and Oroua sub-division No. 1. The undermentioned areas are not liable for the future levy of rates already made by the Board, but ary liable to levy of rates hereafter made by the Board, provided that such rates are levied on a graduated scale according to a classification made by the Board of the rateable propci ty within the district, and not otherwise. That portion of Area No. 2 of the Moutoa Sub-division lying east of the main Eoxton-Levin road: Moutoa sub-division axeaNo. 3. Oroua Sub-division area No. 2.
