At a meeting of the Court of Directors of the Royal Humane Society of New Zealand it was decided j,, make the following awards: — Framed certificate to Reginald Abbot, telegraph department, Nanier, who. on February Tfith, 1924, rescued Mr and Mrs McEachen from drowning off the Marine Parade, Napier. A letter of commendation to Alfred William Steer, labourer, Palmerston N.. who on June 21st:, 1924,
attempted to rescue Alfred William Park from drowning in (lie Kanawa tu river.
