A representative meeting of local women teachers passed a. resolution protesting strongly against the differentiation in salaries between women and men, and demanding equal pay for equal work, and urging that “differentiation is a retrograde step and a serious blot on the otherwise progressive administration of our present. Minister.’’ It was added: “That women teachers are determined to have differentiation abolished. and the general public will never hear Ihe last of it until this occurs.” The resolution and arguments are to lie forwarded to the 'Minister.
