FALSE PRETENCES.

AN IMPUDENT IMPOSTER, Wellington, Last Night. John Lennox, aged 58, a plumber, was committed for sentence to-day on several charges of false, pretences. It was stated in evidence that accused went to various tradesmen and represented that he was one McDonald, a builder of Wellington, or a successful bush contractor.
