AN ELABORATE PRESENTATION

TOWN HALL, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER lfith.

Owing to the enormous amount of iff. vis and properties which are being made in connection with the forthcoming pantomime, “Aladdin,” at the Town Hall, the opening date has been extended to the night of Tuesday, the Ifirh September. The costumes of both the chorus and principals are to he entirely new J and on a most gorgeous scale, and are being designed and executed by a committee of mothers of the girls taking part in the production. No expense is being spared on the part of the management nnd parents in order to make this production the best dressed ami most elaborate performance ever presented in Foxton. Special attention is being paid to the scenic effects and the cave scene in which Aladdin finds the wondrous lamp is a revelation in 'singe craft. With the aid of the cxi i'lh nt stage, accommodation in she Town Ha'!. Mr Sinclair will present sume untune novel tic* hitherto never attempted in pox ton. Notable sum mg- these will be the appearance ot the Spirit of (he Lamp, floating in tin* air, end eventually returning to the stage, there to execute a speciality toe dance, descriptive of the various movements of a flaine when blown by the wind and finally returning into mid air and disappearing into space. Rehearsals are becarried out with the geratest vim on the part of all concerned."
