BREACH OF PROMISE CASE.
Hamilton, August 20. In | lie Supreme Court, Agues Mooney claimed £SOO from Richard Hudner, undertaker, for alleged I,reach of promise to marry. Defendant denied a promise to marry and alternatively pleaded that plaintiff s uuehastity.'had released him from such promise. Kvidence was given that plaintiff was co-respondent in a divorce action but she claimed that she had iold defendant about this, and he said it, made no difference. The jury returned a verdict for plaintiff for £378.
