PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the above was held in the Piunket office on Monday afternoon. There were present: ALesdames F. Robinson (president), Austin-Johnston, Hynes, Baker, Procter, Trueman, A. Ross, Christie, Rowley, Chrystall, and AleAl array (secretary). Apologies for absence were received from Afesdnmes Pearson, Walton, McDonald, Owen and Downes. A letter was received from the
i.m Chamber of Commerce, en-r-]osing a donation of £2 2/-. —Received with thanks. A letter was read from the Palmerston XL centre re appointment of delegate to attend the general conference at Wellington on September 2nd., n being decided to appoint Afrs F. Robinson delegate.
Nurse Ogden’s report for the past month showed visits to Foxton as 5, to homes, !); adults to office, 32; babies to office, 30; total 68. New eases. 6; emulsion given out, 21bs. Collection box 14/-.
Accounts amounting to 7/8 were passed for payment. Mrs AleALurray was appointed llower steward for the month.
