PRESBYTERIAN LADIES’ SOCIAL GUILD.
The fourteenth annual meeting of the above was held at the residence of Mrs Parkes, Thynne-SL, yesterday afternoon. There was a good attendance. The following officers were re-elected. President J Mrs McDonald; vice-president: Miss Duncan; secretary: Airs J. Ross; treasurer, AHs Thomson. On behalf of the guild, Mrs J. Ross fin the unavoidable absence of Mrs McDonald) p rented Mrs Whitehead with n token of •s’cem prior to her departure for Wanganui. Reference was made to Mrs Whitehead’s services in connection with the guild and as a church member, and good wishes were expressed for her future happiness. The recipient feelingly acknowledged . the token and the kindly feelings which prompted it.
