UNION’S ACCOUNTS.
OBJECTION TO INTERFERENCE. Dunediu, July 31. We eanna recognise the Government's right to mi eft ere with lire iuiernai business of unions and deplore the aetuiu of tile Munster in endeavouring to introduce by legislation anything that wilt iuterclere with the liberty ot an individual union or association." Regarding the circular from the Commissioner of faxes asking for the names and addresses of members of the union, it was decided to enter an emphatic protest against the commissioner's endeavour " ~to have the unions do work that rightly belongs to iiis department. ’
