“THE SAGEBRUSH TRAIL.” In “The Sagebrush Trail” at the Town Hall to-night the spectator is treated to a generous -is a tuple of characteristic action and suspense. He- will look upon a breezy, vigorous hero, who when elected sheriff of Silvertown, is called upon to uphold the law in the toughest town of the West. Larry Reid as the sheriff is known as not being afraid of man, beast or devil, but is frightened of an upturned mouth and a petulant pair of lips. He is placed*in a difficult position when his duty beckons 1 1 im to uphold the law against the girl. TTow lie overcomes the difficulty supplies a fine climax to n good picture. The leading roles are enacted bv Roy Stewart, Marjorie Daw and W. Beerv. “Circus Days” a Sunshine Comedy and News complete the programme which will he screened at usual prices. On Monday evening a special programme of two features will he seen, The features tire “Pioneer Trails.” a seven reeler, built much on the lines of the famous “Covered Wagon.” and the four-reel Charles Chaplin classic “The Pilgrim." Tin- feature at the Royal Theatre to-night is a First National Attraction starring' Katherine MacDonald and produced by B. P. Srbulberg. entitled “Refuge." The box plan for the forthcoming “Mother Goose’’ pantomime to be staged at the Theatre Royal on Monday, night is filling rapidly and intending palmns should lose no time in npplvig for seats if they wish to avoid disappointment. Every tiling is now in ship-shape order and residents may look forward to a supreme night’s entertainment and anyone who does not laugh heartily and continually from the rise of the curtain fill the fall should not fail to see a doctor. Particularly amusing is the scene in the operating theatre when the Wieked Baron (Bert Hinds) attempts to carve up the dead body, the “body” being none other than Lester Sinclair. Mr Sinclair has played many amusing parts during his career, hut as “a corpse” he is absolutely a licit. Miss La France will present several new < liild impersonations including one song “T give Yon a Suck of my Lolly." Jack Perreau. as Widow Twnukey, will score many a laugh, (lerfy. the Golden Goose, is the acme of' bird production, whilst the eggs which she lays are nothing short of marvellous.
