OBITUARY.
GEORGE SEARLE WRIGTIT, AGED 82 YEARS.
fi is with regret that we record the death of-a well-known resident ; a tin 1 person of Mr George Searle Wright, who passed peacefully awav at his residence, Ravensworth Place, on Saturday night, at the age of 82 sears. The deceased had been iu invalid for several years. The '. : i. \|r Wright was horn in London and u as rhe e idc.-,t soil of Mr lienr, ■Vi I ford Wright, solicitor, of St. /allies' Sijliarc, London. lie came oiti to New Zealand in 185(1. Almost Jil sears later lie entile to FuXIOll, where he was married to his wife, who survives him, by the late Rev. James Duncan. He is survived In live sons and one daughter, viz.. Alfred (Foxton), Frederick. Viviun ami Sydney (Wellington), Percy (Japan) and Mrs Howan (Wellington). There are also nineteen grandchildren and one greatgrandson. The funeral took place this afternoon, being preceded by a short service in All Saints’ Church. We join with our fellow townspeople in extending our sympathy to the bereaved wife and family.
