4. THE BRYCE INCIDENT

Mr .1. J. Bryce has received official intimation that Cabinet has decided to appoint a Magistrate to conduct the public inquiry into the administration oL' the Palmerston North Hospital, with special reference to the case of the treatment alleged to have boon received by Mr Bryce’s daugliler. The date of the inquiry lias not yet been fixed but steps are now being taken to arrange the order of reference.
