Continuing. Mr Barr said that lie would like to see a committee of four set up that evening to go thoroughlv into die maticr of forming a sociotv. Such a society would he an acquisition to the town.
Mr Poole and Rev. Pcj-yman also spoke on the desirability of forming society locally. ft was decided that a committee consisting of Messrs Barr, Osborne, Downes. Head and Poole he set up to go into the matter of forming a choral soeietv next week.
