Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated ISth July, 1924-:- *• • • “Quotations ex store: —New Zealand prime Canterbury lamb 28/42’s lid; North Island lamb, 28/42’s, 10|d; Prime Canterbury mutton, s(j/G4’s Id; North Island mutton, s(j/U4’s oyd; Ewes, 48/64’s sd; New Zealand prime ox beef, 160/220’s, hinds, none offering; do., fores, none offering.”
The strong demand reported last week for second grade lambs continues. Mutton is unchanged.
