- ♦ — HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner’s cable, dated the 12th .July, reads: ‘‘Hemp, Manila market, firm and good business lias been done in ‘J’ grade. J uly-Sept ember shipments sold at 1-11 10/- buyers. Output of Manila for June was 810,1)00 bales, against 757,000 for the same period last vear. Stocks in Manila on 30t!i June were 143,000 bales, against 147,000 bales last year. Stocks in London 4,504 bales against 16,720 bales last year. New Zealand market unchanged.”
