YOUTHFUL MARRIAGE.

Dunedin, July 9. Recently ihe police were informed that a young girl had disappeared from her parents’ home in the south. Ail inquiry disclosed that the girl, who is 17, was married in Dunedin on June 13th. A young man, aged 22. aiul (he girl were charged this morning with making a false statement respecting the age of the girl. Both pleaded guilty and were committed for sentence.
