PRESENTATIONS.
The members of the Foxton Club met in the oJub room, Bryant’s Building's, on Monday night to spend a suciai evening and make a presentation to Air (J. Arcus, in honour of his approaching marriage to Aliss Parkin. At a suitable juncture in tho evening, ; Air S. Austin (preside.,t ). presented Air Arcus with a uiy tine oak cutlery canteen and IA-hod him every success in his fu;;:re life. Mr Arens, on behalf of hims. •!:’ and .Miss Parkin, suitably icplio.i. A very pleasant social evening was spent.
At the local branch of the C. M. Loss Coy. last evening a presentuli"ii was made to Aliss Parkin, who is severing her connection with the Arm this week to enter the bonds of matrimony. In presenting Miss Parkin with a cake stand from the Arm and three Doulton plates from the staff, the manager (Mr Christie) referred to the many excellent personal qualities of the recipient and the good feeling which always existed between the members of the staff . On behalf of the Arm and staff he conveyed to Miss Parkin their best wishes for her health, happiness and future
