DEATH FROM FINGER SCRATCH Timarn, East Night. Edward James Wright, aged 50 years, employed a I a local auction room, scratched one of his fingers a fortnight ago. Blood poisoning set in and the finger was removed, but the patient developed acute mania and died. At fhe. inquest a verdict was returner that death was due to syncope, hastened by exhaustion and acute mania.
