Correspondence was read from the Horowhenua Electric Power Board re the supply of electricity at the local seaside and stating that the engineer would confer with those interested. —It was explained that there was every possibility of the current being extended to t lie seaside, the requisite number of consumers having signed up. It was decided to write to the Minister for Railways asking for information re the scope of the Commission appointed to enquire into the railway system of the Dominion.
