NEW ZEALAND EULOGISED.

Mr 'McPherson, in a second article states* that “New Zealand is the & ideal country for newcomer farmers. It is difficult to realise that the country has been developed in such a short space of time. One cannot fail to he impressed by the well-laid out towns, splendidly equipped ports and gigantic schemes for water power and the general use of laboursaving devices; hut it. is not on individual effort alone that the country depends for prosperity. “Coupled with that is the collective spirit of co-operation, which \va< a phenomenal feature of its economic co-operative efforts in production, transport and marketing the New Zealanders are attaining a standard of efficiency which is a model to the rest of the Empire.”
