ALL SAINTS' GUILD
A most, enjoyable soeial aftern.><ni was held under the auspices ~f All Saints' Ladies’ Guild, in the Tuwn Hall supper-room yesterday. An interesting competition was won by Mrs Kennerley and Miss Phillips. The cake stall was in charge of Mrs .las. and Miss Robinson and the work stall in charge of Mesdames F. Robinson and Christie.
Opportunity was taken to make a presentation to All's Wyllie senr., by Mrs Walton, on behalf of the Guild. -In making the presentation, which consisted of a doulton jug and dish, reference was made to the services rendered to the guild by the recipient during her residence in Fox ton and good wishes expressed for Mrs Wyllie’s future happiness. Mrs Wyllie suitably acknowledged the kindly expressions and tokens of esteem.
A dainty afternoon tea was served and during the afternoon an acceptable vocal item was contributed by Miss Phillips.
