LOCAL PANTOMIME PRODUCTION.
ROBINSON CRUSOE. An offer was recently made to the local school committee by Air Lester Sinclair, to stage a pantomime, a portion of the proceeds of such production to be given to the local State school funds. The committee was not asked' to take any re; sponsibility in the production. The offer was accepted and Air Sinclair and Miss Winifred La France, both well-known • profes- —* sionals, set to work to collect local talent for* the production. In they have succeeded beyond expectations, having unearthed some excedent talent. To organise, coach and produce a panto within a month is something out of the ordinary, and (fie progress made by 30 performers is wonderful. The juveniles and adults are apt pupils and the chorus work and dancing will astonish me ioeal public. The principals have men own scenery, suilicient for .cun settings. The pauiomime will ue on a scale beyond anything so *.a pioauceu locally and we predict tiiai ibe loyal Theatre will be in- _ siiilicieni io accommodate the public on- the night of production,. June bln.
