Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated the 10th May, 1924: “The following prices are current lor average farmers' lots at the sales-now proceeding: —Greasy Merinos, 32d to 36d per lb.: scoured do., 4/lOd per lb.: greasy super halfhreds, 56’s 26d to 33d per lb.j do., fine halfhreds, 50/56’s 23d to 29d per lb.; do. halfhreds, 48/50’s 20d to 23d. per lb.; do. line crossbreds, 46/48’s ]9d to 21d per lb.; do. medium crossbreds, 44'Mi's 18d to 20d per Hi.-: do. coarse crossbreds 40/44’s 17d to 19d per lb.; do. low crossbreds 36/40’s Ukl to 17Jd per lb.: do. crossbred pieces 15d to 16§d per lb.; do. crossbred bellies 14d to l(id per lb.: do. crossbred locks lOd to lid per lb."
