Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated the 9th May, 1924: •■(Quotations ex store. New Zealand prime Canterbury lamb, 28/42, 10£d; North island lamb, 28/42’s, lUgd; Prime Canterbury mutton, 56/94’s 7id; North Island mutton, 00/04’s, 7d; Ewes, 48/64s old; New Zealand prime ox beef, 169/ 220’s, none offering; do., fores, none offering. As compared with last week’s quotations, Canterbury lamb is sd dearer, North island lamb £d dearer, mutton iJd dearer, and ewes id dearer.” The market is firm with an upward tendency.
