PLUNKET SOCIETY
The monthly meetiug of the above society was held yesterday afternoon, presided over by Mrs E. Robinson (president). There were also present:—Mesdames Austin-John-slon, Rowley, Trueman, Hynes, A. Ross, Procter, Heasman, Christie, Chrystall, Rimmer, and McMurray (lion, secretary); - The nurse’s report for the month (which included Easter week) stated. that three-visits had been made, homes visited four, 24 adults had visited the rooms and 31 babies ] cards sent out, nine. Accounts amounting to £lB 5/were passed for payment. Mrs Austin-Johnston handed £4 to tbe fuuds, the proceeds of a dance. Contributions -to the - collection box, nine pence. " Mrs Hynes was appointed flower steward for the month.
