FARMER ACQUITTED
•JURY’S QUICK DECISION. Auckland, Yesterday. In the Supreme Court a farmer named Milton M'Millan (35), of Maungatawhiri Valley, was charged with the theft of eleven sheep, the property of a neighbouring farmer. When the case for the Crown closed the foreman of the jury intimated that they did not- want to hear any more evidence and returned a verdict of not guilty without leaving the box.
