MOUTOA NOTES.

ANNUAL MEETING OF HALL COMMITTEE.

The annual general meeting of the Moutoa Hall Committee was held on Monday evening last. There was a good attendance with Mr W. H. Smith presiding. The annual report and balance-sheet for the year’s working, ending April. 30th, was read and adopted.

The balance-sheet showed receipts amounting to £324 6/- and included donations £193 1/11, entertainments £127 16/7, and rent of hall £3 7/6. Expenditure totalled £OO 3 2, leaving a credit balance of £264 2/10.

A great deal of credit is due to the energetic committee, especially the ladies who have made the social gatherings such a suecss during the past year.

A very enjoyable dance was held in the ball last evening. There was a very fair attendance.
