Auckland, May 5. Bix students of the Auckland Training College, Francis Limberg, Victor C. Hutter, Arthur fc>, Larson, Robert X. Flat!, George'H.;V.'Hunter and Ronald O. Kirk, for having forged examination papers at'the leaehers' D. examination, appeared for sentence at the Supreme Court. Mr Justice Herdman said that all the lads had attempted to obtain aoademiuj diplomas. by iA'aud,,ji( disreputable thing to do.. He could impose a sentence of imprisonment, but instead be would tine each £lO, to be paid monthly so that ahrused and not their parents would be called on to pay the fines.. -. An application for the suppression of publication of their names was refused.
