At a meeting of the senior players held in Mrs Walls’ tea-rooms en Tuesday night the matter of a practice night was discussed and it was decided that the players assemble ...i Mr A. Stevenson’s shed to-night and that an endeavour he made to get players out for praetiee on Saturday afternoon. On Saturday last the local Thirds defaulted to Shannon. At the committee meeting of the Horowhenua Rugby Union held in Levin on Tuesday night it was decide,d that if Saturday’s game lias any bearing on the final result of the competition the game will he plaved at the end of the season. The following will represent the local Fourths against Weraroa, on Easton Park at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday : Stevenson, Len Eiprahama, Carter, Rankin, Larsen, Delanv, Williams, Hirini, Pahi, Thompson, Head Aldridge, Huff, Aldridge ii. and Downes. All players must he at the Park by one o’clock. There will he a practice for the above team to-morrow night. All are requested to meet at the Post Office at seven o’clock. The following team will represent Foxton Thirds against Koputaroa ui Koputaroa, on Saturday; Cunningham, Williams, Wallace, S. Hartley, G. Hartley, Vertongen. Derrick, Procter, Perreau, Huff. C. and T Shaw, Anderson, O’Reilly and IT. George. Dus leaves post ’office at 12.30 sharp. 1
