YA UDEVILLE A NI) PICTURES AT ROYAL THEATRE. An attractive vaudeville item will be presented at the Royal Theatre to-night and to-morrow night by Eric Harrison and Verna Bain entitled “A Man, A Moon and A Maid.” This act has played with great success throughout New Zealand on the Musgrove Celebrity Vaudeville Circuit, appearing at Auckland, Napier, Wanganui, Palmerston N. etc., and goes to Wanganui next week. The act is beautifully staged and mounted and has some very pretty' lighting effects. Miss Bain who has been called the Premiere Danseuse of Australia, will be seen in some of her best work and Eric Harrison will be remem tiered as the leading man in "Scandal." There will be a complete change of programme each night. To-uiglit the picture part of the programme will be taken up with a scream entitled “Too Much Work.” On Friday night the picture will be “The I’overly of Riches.” with an extra, the official film of Bishop Redwood’s Jubilee. Prices will be 1/- and 2/-, children half-price. Programme specials at the Royal Theatre, don't miss them. “THE PRINCE OP A KING.” Dinky Dean, Jackie Coogan’s only rival, Ims the stellar role in a line six-reel drama, “The Prince of a King,” to he screened at the Town Hall on Saturday next. The little star is supported by a line cast of prominent players among whom are Virginia Pearson, Mitchell Lewis and Sam de Grasse. The story was adapted from the well-read book,

'•John of the Woods,” and deals with the adventures of a four-year old son of rich parents kidnapped .not forced to'become an acrobat in a (ravelling circus. A vein of comedy is prominent throughout the picture. A supporting programme ol variety will lie screened also, including a two-reel comedy “Those Good Old Days,” and Spectator Magazine with News asnd novelty subject. Wednesday next: “The Law of the Lawless.”
