JNXEEY LEW WITH POSTMASTER GENERAL. The Post and Telegraph Association executive waited on the Post-master-General to discuss the Department's schedule on Tuesday night. The president and secretary of the Association declared the schedule was absolutely unsatisfactory and submitted an alternative schedule, which they said would meet requirements, and bring wages to a ueeenl level. j.ne Minister said that under the Department s schedule, various up, creases from 19 Lo To per cent, were provided ior. Increases detailed in tire Departments schedule represented a total increase of 154,090, Whereas the increases asked for by tne P. and X. executive would amoiun to 1500,000. Alter a discussion, the Minister oaid nothing imai could be determined then, as Uie matter would have to go before Cabinet.
