The High ('oimiiissidiicr's cablegram, dated the J7th inst.. reads: —
“Hemp; Manila market, opened firm but (dosed quiet but steady. ‘J’ grade, April-. June shipments, sold | t;3B .15/- per ton and buyers New Zealand market continues quiet. High points quoted at £37 per ton for April-hine shipments, fair at £34 in/-.”
