PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the abuvu was held yesterday afternoon. Present: Mesdames Ghrystali (in the chair), Christie, A. Ross, dimmer, Procter, Trueman, Hdasman, and ALcMurray (hon. secretary). Apologies lor absence were received from Mesdames F. Robinson, C. A. Pearson McDonald and Hynes. Accounts amounting to £1 10/v.ere passed for payment. The nurse’s report showed, four visits to Poitou, visits to office: adults 12 ; babies 18, visits to homes live; new cases, three; letters and cards posted, eight. Mesdames Downes, Heasman and Procter were elected to the comrnittee. . It was resolved to form the committee into four groups, each group to, arrange, an effort to help the lands of the .society, Mrs Christie was appointed dower steward for the month. Amount in collection box, 3/7.
