Mr .1. Codder, organiser of the Band Carnival, has received a donation of £5 5/- from Mr J. Linklater, M.P. Tn a rovering letter, Mr Linklater says: “I will he very pleaded to help you in any way possible in your effort to place the Band on proper footing, both financially and otherwise. Your Band deserves every assistance from the public and 1 fee! sure your effort wifi meet with I he success it deserves. I hope to he with you during the Carnival. I wish you every success.”
