MANAWATU COMPETITIONS.

The third festival of the above will be held in the Palmerston N. Opera House from Alay 19th to 30th. Entries for nil classes close on Thursday, 24th inst. Syllabus and entry forms may be obtained upon application to the secretary. It is to be hoped that Foxton will be represented among the competitors this year as there is some excellent vocal, instrumental and elocutionary talent in our midst which should compete favourably with other cent res.
