ROYAL PICTURES. “Poor Men’s Wives,” belies its name, and instead of the picture of slums and poverty it insinuates, an elaborately produced drama of society and cabaret life is flashed upon the screen. It is a gripping story based on the theme that the world never tires of what constitutes married happiness. “Poor Men’s Wives” will be screened at the Royal Theatre to-morrow night. Throughout the interest is gripped and held and two hours pass like two minutes. Also Mermaid Comedy entitled “Casey Jones Junior.” Wolves —a famine-mad pack encircling in the; snows. Facing them guarding a lost baby, a great dog who had made good for the sake of a demented woman. Don’t forget to see “Strongheart,” at the Royal Theatre on Saturday night in the thrilling picture “Brawn of the North.” An exceptional picture starring an almost human dog, men scarcely beasts and a woman of wonderful faith.
