FURTHER TAXATION RE DUCTIONS.
(Jlirislehurch, Last Night.
“I think the record of last year’s finances will he very interesting and not unsatisfactory to the people of this, laattUfOo-L-nsaid. At r. .Massey after informing a deputation to-day that he hoped the Financial Statement would brought down soon after Parliament met.

We can stand that, i think development is very satisfactory. "You will get our exports in a few days. If we are not up to £59,0110,999 in exports this time we will be very little short of it. It is a tremendous thing, even allowing for the increase in the price of wool to produce, export and turn into cash that amount of wool, mutton, butter and cheese. “As long' as we can do that, well, our debt'Won’t troubUPus very much/ “In connection with the debt I do not know what 1 am going to be able to do.
