■‘ALADDIN” PANTOMIME COY
The word “pantomime,” like “circus,” conjures up in the mind visions of our childhood days when we were not quite as worldly as we are today. Our outlook on life has changed since the time when we were convinced that the fairy princess had only to wave her magic wand i.u order to banish the wicked demon and bring love and happiness to the handsome principal boy and his pretty sweetheart. We are to have the opportunity of being rejuvenated on Tuesday next at the Town Hall, when that favourite company which had the record run of 22 consecutive performances in Auckland, with “Old Mother Hubhard,” is to present its latest and best production, “Aladdin,” or “The Magic Lam]).” Mr Stanley McKay since last in N.Z. has been touring Australia with great success and his present company is the best he lias been associated with. Someone out of the ordinary in comediennes is Miss Violet Elliott, the funny fat girl* She specialises in “slavey” parts and is what is usually termed “a scream." Lovers of dancing are well entered for hv Lorraine McLeod, the beautiful Eastern dnni er, Reggy Middleton, Australia’s premier toe dancer and picked hallet. For -uch a fine show the prices are remarkably small, and seats may he hooked without extra charge at Heal has.

During the screening of this picture the song “Mighty Like a Rose” will he sung.
