UNITED SPORTS ASSOCIATION

At last night’s meeting of the United Sports Association, presided over bv Mr \V. T. Jewell, it was decided to hold a dance in the Masonic Hall on the night of the sports meeting. Re the Band Carnival Committee’s suggestion to appoint a queen candidate, it was decided te convene a meeting of all sports bodies, including the Association, with the object of appointing a candidate. Mr C. Robinson was thank ed for his donation of a sheep for weight guessing competition at the sports. Details were discussed in connection with the sports meeting and progress was reported.
