The remaining games unplayed in the first three rounds of the Wilford Cup contest were completed yesterday afternoon. Huntley met Heasman in the third round and was defeated by three points. Christie met Pearson in the second round, which resulted in a win for the former. Jno. Ross lost to Pearson in the third round. On account of withdrawals from this competition after its commencement several players were credited with byes, which leave- an unusual number in the second draw. At the completion of the first three rounds, a further draw was made which resulted as follows: — Stnhr (3) v. Walker (6). Huntley (3) v. Healey (ti). lh>ore | -cr. ) v. Whibley (6), Harr (6) v. Pearson (6). ileasntan (t>) v. Thomson (6). Jno. Ross (3) v. Simpson (6). Stolir and Walker proceeded with their game, yesterday afternoon, , and after a Hose contest, Stohr had a win by a margin of five points.

Simpson and Ross also played their match. This was a particularly good game, Simpson gaining an advantage of one point on the final land by trailing rhe kitty with his last howl.
