ENTERTAINMENTS.

A DUSTIN EARN UAL PICTURE.

A William Patterson White story “The Buster,” will head the bill at the Town Hall on Saturday next. In this picture Dustin Farnum as the manager of an estate has the difficult and thankless task of taming the temperamental niece (Doris Pawn) of the owner. Of course there is a villain who works his evil way right up to the sensational climax on the brink of a precipice. Magnificently photographed amid tine natural scenery “The Buster” measures up to the best standard of present day picture production. Also “Five Fifteen,” Sunshine comedy. Usual prices. Next week at the Cabaret Madge Kennedy appears in “The Purple Highway,” Among a fine list of pictures scheduled to be shown locally are “Homeward Bound,” “Bluebeards Eighth Wife,” “To the Last Man,” “Manslaughter,” “Nero,” and “You Can’t Fool your Wife.” ROYAL PICTURES. On Friday the picture of pictures “Squibs wins the Calcutta Sweep,” will be screened at the Royal Theatre. The story of a London flowergirl who strikes it “rich.” Miss Balfour has the leading role and the supporting cast is an excellent one. Full of typical London scenes, together with much humour. Also a Mack Sennetl comedy entitled “Home-made Pictures.” The programme is one of exceptional merit. Those who saw Miss Balfour in “Squibs” will not miss seeing her again in “Squibs wins the Calcutta Sweep,” A new Zune Grey picture “When Romance Rides” founded upon “Wildfire,” is coming to the Royal on Saturday. The picture is interspersed with lively comedy. The great horse race alone will give spectators their money’s worth. There is also one of the most desperate struggles between a girl and a man ever filmed. Also “Around the W,orld in 18 Days,” and a comedy entitled “Home-made Movies.”
